Tigue Moore Field

M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field is the home to Louisiana Lafayette Ragin Cajuns baseball team. Moore Field was dedicated March 31, 1979, in honor of the Moore Family. The late M.L. "Tigue" Moore and his wife, the late Catherine Moore, touched thousands of lives with their volunteer work at the University and throughout Acadiana. M.L. "Tigue" Moore won the Roberto Clemente Humanitarian Award in 1975 and was the recipient of numerous other local, state and national honors for his efforts.

In 27 seasons at "The Tigue", the Cajuns have posted a 608-235-1 overall record. Only 3 times has UL posted a losing record at home. In 9 seasons, current Louisiana Lafayette head coach Tony Robicheaux has led UL to 247 wins at the Tigue.
