The Pride of Mid America

“The Pride of Mid-America”, the marching band for Ball State is one of the nation’s great college marching bands. The band performs at all home football games, as well as performs in an exhibition at high schools throughout the state of Indiana. The band has appeared at numerous NFL games throughout its distinguished history. The marching band has performed for United States Presidents, Super Bowl, and at NFL games. The band has also performed at the Indiana’s stellar sports facility the RCA Dome for the Indianapolis Colts on numerous occasions. “The Pride of Mid-America” also performs at some away football games, parades, pep rallies and exhibitions. At the end of marching band season, the band becomes a Concert Band known as the Varsity Band, which rehearses for the remaining three weeks of the semester and gives a Christmas Concert before finals week.
