South Florida

The University of South Florida is located in Tampa, Florida USF was founded in 1957, and didn't start play as a member of the NCAA until 1968. Before becoming members of the Big East in 2005, USF was a member of Conference USA. Before moving to C-USA the Bulls were a member of the Sun Belt Conference. The USF football program was started in 1997. Current head coach Jim Leavitt has been the USF coach, since the program started. The mascot is the Bulls.
