Kentucky
From NCAA Wiki
University of Kentucky is located in Lexington, Kentucky. Its mascot is the Wildcats. It is widely known for it's longstanding success in college basketball over the last 100+ years, being at or near the top of many NCAA records, such as wins (1st), NCAA tournament appearances (1st), NCAA tournament wins (1st), and NCAA Championships (2nd). The Kentucky Wildcats are in the Southeastern Conference. Kentucky's major conference rivals include Tennessee, Florida, and South Carolina. And with former basketball coach Rick Pitino's migration to in-state foe University of Louisville in 2002, the annual non-conference winter matchup represents one of the most intense rivalries in college basketball. Since Pitino's departure, the Wildcats have failed to produce a roster capable of reaching the Final Four. Kentucky also has a major rivalry with Indiana in basketball, and has had a rivalry with Cincinnati in the past.
