Centenary college was founded in 1825. The college is located in Shreveport, Louisanana. The mascot is the Gentleman, The Women's teams are known as the Ladies. The college is affilated with the United Methodist Church. It is the smallest Division I institution in the NCAA and Centenary is the oldest college west of the Mississippi River
