University of Alabama is located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Its mascot is the Crimson Tide. In football, Alabama plays its biggest rival, Auburn in the annual Iron Bowl. Alabama also has another major rival in Tennessee (Third Saturday in October). Historically, Alabama's rivals have included Georgia Tech, Penn State, and Notre Dame. Alabama's main rival in basketball is Mississippi State.
